Well, readers, sorry.
Let's all take a moment to sigh at the incredible procrastinatorial talent of JTZ Baner.
We have left the blog forgotten, yet again.
But not to worry, we're back in business!

BOOK OF THE WEEK:
Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld
Category: Steampunk
Age category: Teen/YA
Series: The Leviathan Trilogy, Book 1
Leviathan is a great book about an alternate history (with steampunk machines and weird genetically modified organisms). Taking place at the dawn of World War One, it follows the adventures of young prince Alek of Austria, who becomes a fugitive from the Axis Powers after his father's assassination.
However, in the events of his travels, he encounters the Leviathan, a gigantic living organism that serves as a zeppelin-esque craft for the British airforce. Onboard, Alek meets Deryn Sharp, a girl who has disguised herself as a boy in order to enlist.
I won't spoil any more. Read this book, though. Seriously, the whole trilogy is great.
