Hello again, followers of the blog, ad welcome to the third, and I hope hardest, Riddling Derby. But first I'd like to apologize for not posting this at the correct time. My cover story this time is that my dog had an abscess tooth and we had to take him to the vet, so i wasn't really thinking about the blog.
Well, I guess we should get on to the rules, even though they are getting a bit tedious.
1: I post a riddle of average...ah, to heck with this, lets just get on with the riddles. okay, here goes.
Riddle One: I went and I got it, I sat and I sought it, when I couldn't find it I brought it home.
Riddle Two:I am a word of meanings three. Three ways of spelling me there be. The first is an odor, a smell if you will. The second some money, but not in a bill. The third is past tense, a method of passing things on or around.
Thank you for your attention, and may the odds be ever in your favor (yeah, and know I ripped that off, but who doesn't. Right? Right?! Poop)
The next Derby will be posted off schedule as usual sometime next week. Thank you all again.
I think the first one is a splinter....I've heard a very similar riddle. The second one is...scent, cent, and sent??
ReplyDeleteMy guess is the same as Hyper's, so I'll sit this one out :)
ReplyDeleteI am going to withhold my judgement until i get another few guesses. but while I'm at it, Tasia and Hyper, try this one out. what stinks while living but in death smells good?
